The City of Edinburgh Council has a live survey open to all council tenants across the city. This closes on 12th April and urgently needs responses.
We, as the Neighbourhood Alliance, encourage all council tenants to fill this in and let the council know your views!

This consultation is about how tenants can have their say, meet, and have an impact as to how services are delivered. Letting the council know how you would like to see this happen will help shape how tenant input is run in the future.
While we do not have a template response, and encourage you to share your own views, it is the view of the Neighbourhood Alliance that tenant participation services should not be an in-house council service, but should continue to be run externally. We also believe that this should not be a centralised service across the city, but run hyperlocally by community organisations in each area of Edinburgh.
Local people know best what is needed in their area, and locally run participation services are therefore most likely to capture the needs of tenants.
The council is also running an in-person event discussing the consultation on Weds 8th April at 3pm at the City Chambers. We would encourage anyone who can to attend and have their say there too!
If you cannot make this event, please do fill in the survey here.
