Niddrie Mill Community Shed Build Begins
Things are well under way at Niddrie Mill creating our new community garden. On 15th May, we had our first community shed build day led by the wonderful Carolina, with volunteers getting stuck in constructing the first of the shed walls, trying their hand at drilling, using impact drivers, marking out lines and making sure the wall frame was nice and straight! Neighbourhood Alliance Urges Responses to Council Consultation on Tenant Participation Services
The City of Edinburgh Council has a live survey open to all council tenants across the city. This closes on 12th April and urgently needs responses. Happy Almost Easter!
Community Alliance Trust have succesfully supported the Niddrie House Neighbourhood Association to secure a micro-grant from the University of Edinburgh Communities Programme. The funding will be used to help Niddrie House Children's Activity Group to run their Easter Parade event on Saturday 4th April.

We have been in talks with The Scottish Violence Reduction Unit over the last few months, and they have awarded us a discrete fund to see this project come to fruition.
