Community Shed Build
We have an exciting opportunity this year in Niddrie Mill. We are building a neighbourhood garden open to all, on the previously grassy area between Niddrie Mill Terrace and Niddrie Mill Grove.
This will be a space for growing a range of fruit and veg for the local community, but also for connection and to bring folk together.
So far, a perimeter fence has gone up round the site, and we have been busy building our community shed with the help of volunteer sessions led by Carolina and Andreas from Edinburgh Tool Library.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and our last volunteer shed build will take place this summer (updates on a date soon!)
You can find us in the grassy area between Niddrie Mill Grove and Niddrie Mill Terrace

Community Artwork
We are delighted to have teamed up with Art Buds Collective and KMG to revitalise the Niddrie Mill Community Garden shipping container.
Residents of Niddrie were invited to join four free drop-in sessions over July 2026.
The artwork is now complete and has transformed the rusty old container into a colourful and cheering community creation.
