We have an exciting opportunity this year in Niddrie Mill. We are building a neighbourhood garden open to all, on the previously grassy area between Niddrie Mill Terrace and Niddrie Mill Grove.
This will be a space for growing a range of fruit and veg for the local community, but also for connection and to bring folk together.
So far, a perimeter fence has gone up round the site, and we are now in the process of constructing a community shed.
There are plenty of opportunities to get involved and we are hosting a range of volunteer shed build days. Our first session took place on 15th May and volunteers got handy with drills and helped put together the first layer of one of the shed walls.
Our next volunteer shed build day will be on 27th May from 10.30am.
